Our cotswold holiday retreat is a beautiful New England style lakeside cottage overlooking Windrush Lake in the Cotswold Water Park near Cirencester. It is a perfect setting for a relaxing break to escape your busy life. The Cotswold Water Park has superb scenery and facilities with fishing, sailing, golf, and much more right on the doorstep.

'Village Hopping'
​
One of our favourite outings as a family we have named 'Village Hopping'. This is not for everyone, but visiting the beautiful scenery of Bibury, the tea rooms of Bourton on the Water or even travelling further afield to experience the historic Stratford Upon-Avon is one of the many ways to take advantage of this Outstanding Area of Natural Beauty.
History & Culture

Immerse yourself in the history of the Cotswolds at one of the many Cotswolds museums, great historic houses, or just walk through the streets and down the back lanes within the beautiful Cotswold stone towns and villages.
The Beach
Maybe more suitable for the warmer months of the year, The Cotswold Country Park and Beach boasts a cafe, ice-cream parlour and brand new WiBit Aqua Park on the North Lake to keep the kids happy.

Bird Watching
Due to the central location of the Cotswold Water Park and the vast area of wetland habitats, bird monitoring and ringing studies are showing that this area is an important stop-over for feeding for migrating birds, during both the Spring and the Autumn.
Nightlife

The tranquility of the Cotswolds in the day is counterracted by its livelihood at night, with numerous bars, clubs and the best pubs England has to offer.
